Intro to Social Media at CLCVS

23rd July 2012 DigiEnable ran a Basic Social Media workshop for charities, NPOs, SMEs and anyone who was interested in getting started on social media.

DigiEnable thinks social media is a fantastic way of making conversations happen, asking questions to your service users, or just sharing advice and useful links.

With 40% of UK SMEs and 59% of internet users now have a profile on a social networking site, [Ofcom, March 29th, 2012] it's never been a better time to get your brand or personality online.

The three hour workshop covered the top 4 social network sites for NPOs, what social media actually is, what content to put out there, and examples of peers doing a good job in their sector.

All the useful links mentioned on the day can be found in the links bundle - http://bit.ly/PZHVi4 and the handout can be downloaded in pdf format below.
