Triple Award Win for “Trailblazer” DigiEnable Co-Founder

We are the type of business that gets our head down, does what we think is best and isn’t scared to try different things, so when we get awarded for the work we do it’s a mixture of surprise and immense honour!

That’s why we are so proud to have won 3 awards over December 2018 for the work we do and the other organisations and charities we support.

Listed in the WeAreTechWomen’s Tech100 Awards for 2018, we are alongside businesses with Deliote, Barclays and Apple! What a position to be in, and an absolute pleasure to be one of only a handful of people selected from outside of London. Our Lancashire roots are strong!

Selected to be part of the 100, from a shortlist of over 300, with thousands applying for the prestigious award, it’s something we’ve really honoured getting, in line with the excitement of winning the Digital Leaders 100 awards back in 2014!

“I was honoured to speak on BBC Radio Lancashire and featured in the Lancashire Post, about winning the TechWomen100 awards and representing the county nationally, and on the same week also found out about being listed in the Business Cloud’s 301 Female Trailblazers in Tech, what a week!”

Interestingly, when you google the definition of the word “Trailbazer” you come up with a very male orientated example…

So hopefully, this isn’t just representing women in tech, but also changing the stereotype of trailblazers too!

Then to make it a hat-trick of awards, the Professional Speaking Association (PSA) awarded me Regional Speaker of the year for the NW region.

“I’m really enjoying my speaker journey and it’s fabulous to be speaking at so many amazing events that are moving the conversation of digital for businesses forward. I look forward to building further relationships with other organisations and event organisers looking for more from me! My highlight of 2018 in my speaking calendar has to be sharing a panel in Birmingham with the inspirational enginner and MP, Chi Onwurah.

And a big thank you to you, for reading our blogs, subscribing to our e-updates and those who we work with and work alongside, if it wasn’t for you, winning these types of awards wouldn’t be half as much fun!

Here’s to an even bigger 2019!
